I only met Steve through his fishing tackle shop. The thing was that a 'quick' visit to his 'shop' often ended up in an hours chat on every subject under the sun! I know that a number of Steve's family are, like me, involved in education and our views on this were so in tune - if only Mr Gove was on the same wavelength!
