As a fly fisherman, Steve was one of the best. A true pioneer of reservoir fly fishing, Steve was a great innovator. We often would spend ages on the phone discussing trout flies, fishing techniques, fly tying materials and putting the world to right. Steve was a great student of politics who like most in his part of the country, call a spade a shovel. I will miss you mate.
